Francesc Estevez was born in Ondara. He began his musical studies at the Conservatory of Music of Valencia and then studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid, where he majored in composition and conducting, having as teachers Anton Garcia Abril and Enrique García Asensio.
He continued to study conducting with Helmuth Rilling in Stuttgart, Karl and Richard Edlinger Österreicher in Vienna, and with Harold Faberman at the University of Hartfort (Connecticut, USA).
In 1998 he founded the ORCHESTRA OF THE MARINA ALTA (OMA), and since then has been their conductor. The Orchestra gives more than 60 concerts every season, performing in Valencia and all over Spain.
He has directed, among others, the Henry Purcell Orchestra of Valencia, the Mediterranean Orchestra, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Debrecen (Hungary), the Soloist of Prague (Czech Republic), the State Symphony Orchestra of Michoacán (Mexico) , the Chamber Orchestra of the Empordà, and the Chamber Orchestra Saetabis. He has also collaborated with the Chamber Orchestra of Dresden.
